  • Did you like question ten, Moony? Loved it. Give five signs that identify the werewolf. Excellent question. D’you think you managed to get all the signs? Think I did. One: He’s sitting on my chair. Two: He’s wearing my clothes. Three: His name’s Remus Lupin…

  • The rest of the school was happily anticipating their Halloween feast; the Great Hall had been decorated with the usual live bats, Hagrid’s vast pumpkins had been carved into lanterns large enough for three men to sit in, and there were rumors that Dumbledore had booked a troupe of dancing skeletons for the entertainment.

  • it never fails to shake me to my core how the hbp movie not only did a poor ass job with harry and ginny’s relationship, but how it … refuses to even acknowledge it. they share a couple of awkward moments (chemistry? who?) and an equally awkward kiss and then … nothing. i don’t think they actually … have a real conversation … ever? and in the books, they’re this firework. they’re also both so fucking popular that their relationship instantly becomes Hot Gossip at hogwarts. they’re the couple that ends up in the yearbook, they just are that damn iconic. like heck. they’re a fucking it couple. their first kiss? probably made the front page of the daily prophet

  • Ginny doesn’t need your approval, Ron. (But Harry appreciates it!) :^)

Finally! I’ve wanted to draw the ACTUAL Harry and Ginny kiss for ages! I love these sweet sassy children, and the movie kiss had such a serious feel to it.

This scene was the winner of February’s HP Comic Poll! If you’d like to vote on my next Harry Potter comic, or want to see them before I post them anywhere else, check out my Patreon!! :)

  • just thinking about the chamber of secrets makes me so emo because ginny went through so much at such a young age. she fought voldemort’s possession for almost a whole year without telling anyone, a feat that even most adults wouldn’t have been able to endure. rather than letting this hang over the rest of her life, she moved forward. ginny is living proof within the series that you can suffer such horrific trauma but still come out okay. she became one of the most powerful witches in the series. she remained kind to those who were less popular than her but took no shit. hell, she told off harry effing potter. she remained harry’s “best source of comfort” even when she knew he was going to break up with her rather than breaking up with him beforehand. when he broke up with her, she didn’t try to refute it because she knew it was something he had to do. she restarted the DA while hogwarts was taken over by death eaters who used the cruciatus curse on those in detention. she fought for the cause the golden trio represented despite not knowing their whereabouts or if they were even alive. this list could go on and on.

anyways, ginny weasley is so important and deserves better than the movies and a lot of the fandom.
